Enjoyed an early morning drive to Cork International Airport for the Train the Trainers event organised by Damien Mulley. First impressions of the hotel was pretty amazing, funky, fresh and aesthetically unbelievable.

It was fun experience to be in a room with like minded technology people for a change, compared to talking about daily shite at work with people and I would never bore friends with this kind of content. Hopefully this will be something I will get used to with more events popping up throughout the year.

It was great to finally meet Sabrina Dent, Elly Parker (moo card supplier) and especially Deborah Hadley who feeds me so well with tast.ie goodness.

After some interesting slides from Damien we broke for lunch at our reserved table, the menu looked interesting to say the least, I did want to order the Steak but did state there would be a 20 minute wait, so I took the safe option of fish and chips. I would rarely eat fish of any sort but the batter would take much of the taste away, the chips were just potatoes cut into quartets with a side plate of peas.

We headed back and discussed what companies should actually blog about and how they should go about it. It was a really interesting topic and one which I hope to talk with companies about in the upcoming weeks. During this Deborah invited me for a O’Connails hot chocolate over facebook. I drove Elly who actually flew down from Dublin into the city and we eventually found the place.
